Design of Education and Training Program

Programs must be designed to provide appropriate knowledge and meet licensure requirements.

Descriptions of Programs

Accurate descriptions of content, goals, and stipends must be readily available.

Accuracy in Teaching

Syllabi must be accurate, though modification of course content is allowed if students are made aware.

Student Disclosure of Personal Information

Students are generally not required to disclose personal history unless the information is necessary to evaluate students whose personal problems prevent competent performance.

Mandatory Individual or Group Therapy

If therapy is a requirement, students must have the option of selecting practitioners not affiliated with the program.

Assessing Student and Supervisee Performance

Feedback must be provided in a timely manner based on actual performance.

Sexual Relationships with Students and Supervisees

Prohibited with students or supervisees over whom the practitioner has evaluative authority.
