Relevant cues = focus on improving performance. Irrelevant cues = distractions
Avoidance vs approach mentality
Approach: Running towards life, taking on difficult situations head on. Avoidance: running away from life
What is the difference between self-belief and confidence
Self belief = something you haven't done yet. Confidence = belief in something you have already done
Arrogant
lose - lose. You tear other people down
Aggressive
Win - lose. Training to beat someone, not win. Not good in long term.
Assertive
Win - Win. TRUE CONFIDENCE. becoming the best you can.
Passive
Lose - Win. Letting people walk all over you, absence of confidence
