accepting that we may suffer in doing God’s will and still be willing to follow him.
ex. Remember our suffering is never wasted.
Free will and Gods plan for our lives
free will is the ability to make our own decisions. God has a plan for our lives but still gives us the choice to participate in it or not. God gives us multiple chances to make good decisions and can bring good out of any evil if we let him.
the rejection of church teaching affecting our conscience as an error of judgement
Our conscience directs us toward what is right. It turns us away from sin and closer to God. If we reject the churches teachings we aren’t allowing God to form our conscience.
catholic church belief on moral relativism and moral absolutism
the church believes in moral absolutism which the the belief that there is intrinsically evil acts that are always wrong. The church does no believe in moral relativism which is the belief that there is no objective good or evil.
Old testament laws- Which do we still follow and which do we not? Why?
Kingdom Laws- these governed the daily life of people in Israel. Israel doesnt exist anymore so we don’t follow it
Temple laws- these upheld reverence of the temple. The temple doesnt exist so we dont follow it
Moral laws- laws for living; applicable for all people. the context of moral living still exists so we do follow today.
Original sin- why and how we have it.
original sin is contracted, not commited, by all humans. original sin came into the world from adam and eve by letting their trust in God die

Love the sinner, hate the sin
we are called to love others as God wants us to but we want to lead others closer to him by hating the evil in the world and helping them turn away from the sin and towards God.

you shall love the lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind
