Combustion
A chemical reaction in which a combustile “burns” or reacts rapidly with oxygen
Two types of combustions
Complete: Produced when theres so much oxygen
incomplete: Produced when the quantity of oxygen is limited
Hydrocarbure
Can be any type of combustile fossile
Monoxyde de carbone and the symtoms
Mal de tête
Vertiges
La nausée
Problèmes de respiration
Products for complete combutions
H2O
CO2
What is ‘suie’
It’s small particles of carbon and its evidence of of incomplete combustion. It looks like chacoal from a barbeque
What do hydrogen combustion
energy and water
Why is hydron ideal for combustion
Burns in a proper manner (water and energy)
Resources for this are infinite
What are the problems with hydrogen combustion
Cost energy
Exspensive to make
Hydrogen is explosive, ie. hard to store
Combustion of phrosphore - appearence
White
Red
How does phosphore change from red to white
The increase in energy changes red phosphorus into white phosphorus white
