Translation (Translação)
The Earth's movement that lasts 308 days.
Perihelion (Periélio)
The point when the Earth is closest to the Sun.
Aphelion (Afélio)
The point when the Earth is most distant from the Sun.
Equinox (Equinócio)
A phenomenon where day and night have the same duration, occurring during Spring and Autumn.
Summer and Winter Energy Phenomenon
An unequal distribution of energy between the Northern Hemisphere (H.N) and the Southern Hemisphere (H.S).
Seasonal Sequence
The progression of seasons in the order: Spring, Summer, Autumn, and Winter.
Shadow Projection
The principle that the more inclined an object is, the greater the projection of its shadow.
Solstice Polar Extremes
During a solstice, one pole experiences 3 months of clarity (midnight sun) while the other experiences 3 months of darkness (polar night).
Points of Incidence Markers
Geographic lines including the Tropic of Cancer (T.can), Tropic of Capricorn (T.cap), and the Equator (eq) that mark solar incidence points.
Rotation (Rotação)
The movement of the Earth on its own axis which, according to the notes, does not interfere with the climate.
Equinoctial Precession (Precessão Equinocial)
The rotation of the Earth's axis on itself which does not interfere with the climate.
Winter Solstice in the Southern Hemisphere (H.S)
Characterized as the last point of visible light in the Southern Hemisphere during the winter season.
