7 yrs and QI fellowship

SIA paediatric anaesthesia and airway

Periop interest-POETTS, CPET, research experience

Any gaps?

Clarify if mean gaps Or how would improve anaesthetic training…

Gaps

-not many clinical gaps as training done (act up, lung uss)

-remain self aware, keep a log book And plan targeted CPD

-as trainee there are quite a few non clinical responsibilities I haven’t had

Would add a stage 3 module

(theatre productivity, NHS finance, complaints/coroner inquests/safety incident reviews, job planning, workforce planning, procurement)

Would improve training

My training

-do some acting up

-lung uss would be useful and learning gastric uss

Training in general

-not as much sim training in later training (would make a senior decision making sim course incl how to supervises juniors)

-learning about job planning, theatre productivity, workforce planning
