Cyrus the Great

A Persian king, also known as Ahasuerus, under whom the empire reached its greatest extent.

Zoroastrianism
The false religion practiced by the kings of the Persian Empire.

A system where kings had a much higher regard for the law than Babylonian monarchs, with the king being under the law.
