Respiratory droplets; kolpik spots appear 2-4 days after onset of symptoms. Red rash spreads from face, trunk, to extremities. Complications = bacterial disease in respiratory
German Measles transmission + symptoms
respiratory droplets, contact; occasonal fever and pale-pink rash. swift recovery, but can relapse.
Congenital rubella
when fetus is infected, could affect eyes, ear and heart.
Fifth disease transmission + symptoms
respiratory droplets; mild rash on cheeks
Smallpox symptoms
pink red macules that become papules and fluid filled vesicles. once pop they emit pus and scar
Trachoma transmission + symptoms
flies, hands, clothes and washcloths; clear fluid from eyes 5-12 days, chronic infection can lead to blindness.
