French and India war
(1754-1763) war fought in the colonies between the English and the French for possession of the Ohio valley area. The English won.
Benjamin Franpin
American intellectual, inventer, and politician. He helped to negotiate French support for the American Revolution.

Ben Franklin's plan to unite the colonies under one government to defeat France
Treaty of paris (1763)
Ended the french and indian wer and effectively kicked the French out of North America.

Law passed by parliament allowing the British East India Company to sell its low-cost tea directly to the colonies- underming colonial tea merchants i led to Boston tea party

protest against increased tea prices in which colenists dumped British tea into Boston harber.

Series of lows passed in 1774 to punish for the boston tea party

A movement that emphasized science and reases as guides to help see the world more clearly

A grap of civilians trained to fight in emergencies

American colonists who remained loyal to Britain and opposed the wor for independence.
