Demography
The statistical study of human population, including statistics such as average household income, number of people living in an area, and demographic subgroups.
Population Density
Average number of people living in an area, usually expressed as persons per square mile or kilometer.
Birthrate
The number of births each year expressed per 1000 people living in an area.
Death Rate
The number of deaths each year expressed per 1000 people living in an area.
Migration
The process of moving from one place to live in another, often influenced by various social and economic factors.
Emigrants
People who leave a country to live in another, often for better job opportunities or living conditions.
Immigrants
People who come to a new country to live, often fleeing persecution or seeking better opportunities.
Refugee
People who have been forced to leave their homes and cannot return, often due to political or environmental factors.
Push Factors
Conditions that cause people to leave a location, such as job loss, environmental issues, or persecution.
Pull Factors
Attractions that draw people to a new location, including better job opportunities, favorable climate, and political stability.
