What is Biodiversity?
The diversity of organisms, whether microorganisms, animals or plants, which exists as a result of the diversity of habitat and climate.
What are the importance of biodiversity?
Sources of food, balance of nature, medical and education.
What methods?
Banning the killing of endemic species, protect the habitats through creatong national parks and marine parks.
Invertebrates without legs, without segmented body
Sponge, corals, snails.
Invertebrates without legs with segmented body
Tapeworm, earthworm, leech
Invertebrates with legs
Ant, cockroach, butterfly
Invertebrates with more than 3 pairs of legs
Spider, prawn, centipede
Characteristics of Fish

Characteristics of Amphibians
Poikilothermic, live on land and water, moist skin, lay jelly-like eggs, external fertilization
Characteristics of Reptiles
Poikilothermic, breathe through lungs, have scales and hard skin, internal fertilization
Characteristics of Birds
Homeothermic, have feathers to maintain body temperature, have wings to help some birds fly, have a pair of scaly feet, breathe through lungs, internal fertilization
Characteristics of Mammals
Homeothermic, covered in fur or hair, give birth and nurse their young ones, breath through lungs, internal fertilization
Non-flowering plants

Characteristics of non-flowering plants
Moss (non-vascular, reproduce by producing spores)
Fern (vascular, reproduce by producing spores)
Conifer (vascular, reproduce by bearing cones)
What is a cotyledon?
Sorted food that is used by the seed to germinate.
Flowering plants examples
Sunflower plant, paddy plant, lotus plant
Monocotyledon
One cotyledon
Leaf: Parallel veins
Stem: Non-woody stem
Root: Fibrous root
Example: paddy plant and maize plant
Dicotyledon
Two cotyledons
Leaf: Network-like veins
Stem: Woody stem
Root: Tap root
Example: tomato plant and durian tree
