Weathering
the breakdown of rocks at or near the Earth's surface
Types of Weathering
Physical & Chemical
Physical weathering is the
breaking down of rocks into smaller pieces (sediments)
Chemical weathering
changes the chemical composition of the rock
Frost action (physical weathering)
