FRONT: WHY DID THE KOREAN WAR LEAD DIRECTLY TO THE CREATION OF SEATO AND CENTO?
so there wasnt any more communist comeback at such scale that before seemed hiding= THIS MEANT THAT THE USA COMMITTED ITSELF TO DEFENDING GLOBAL ALLIES WITH MONEY AND ARMS, INCREASING SOVIET FEARS OF CAPITALIST AGGRESSION

FRONT: WHY IS THE KOREAN STALEMATE (1953) ACTUALLY CONSIDERED A "VICTORY" FOR THE POLICY OF CONTAINMENT?
because it seemed to end because of lack of soviet action and not american, meaning that the us resisted and reduced communism in korea = THE WAR ENDED WITH SOUTH KOREA FREE OF COMMUNIST CONTROL THIS MEANT THAT WHILE THE COST WAS 1.4 MILLION DEAD, THE USA PROVED IT HAD THE "WILL AND THE MEANS" TO SUCCESSFULLY CONTAIN COMMUNIST EXPANSION
