A 15-member panel which bears the UN's major responsibility for keeping international peace.

Arbitrates disputes between member states-->Limited authority: it's unable to handle those cases in which an involve state rejects the courts intervention

the body created by the UN General Assembly in 2006 to replace the UN Human Rights Commission in making recommendations regarding human rights issues
