Control of the straits, influence in the balkans, and gain more territory.

it was a revolution of industrial production but it was not a real marxist revolution.
What happened to Russia during WWI?
They were completely unprepared for war. They lacked transportation infrastructure, rail connections to warm water ports, and stockpiles of modern weapons.
Who are the big three and what were their roles?
Stalin (the organizer of the russian rev.), Lenin (the charismatic leader of the russian rev), and Trotsky (the creator of the red army).
What was the Treaty of Brest-Litovsk?
It ended Russia's participation in the war.

He thought that with enough time Germany would turn communist.
