Assess radicular px.
Px down the same side as bending = nerve root impingement
Px down opposite side as bending = disc herniation

How do you perform Spurlings Test

Same position as qudrant but add compression

Pt looks":

Extend arm back, slightly down and externally rotate.
Pt looks towards the arm

With Wrights 1 what is the arm doing
Pt looks:

Stop sign position
Pt looks away from the arm

With Wrights 2 what is the arm doing

Arm straight up in OH position with internal rotation.
