This is another reference to how man was instructed to care for the earth. This verse (Genesis) has many references to environmental teachings

While dually demonstrating that there is no excuse for skipping prayer, reinforcing to Muslims that Allah should be at the forefront of their life.

2017 Islamic Climate Initiative
The impact of this ethical teaching is evident through the 2017 Islamic Climate Initiative that launched in Brisbane, which involved a small group of the Brisbane Umma who felt the need to start a conversation and action on climate change in order to demonstrate their responsibility of being stewards of the environment.
