Pueblo
A Native American tribe located mainly in Utah and Colorado. They were a settled group who mainly focused on agriculture.
Great Plains tribes
Mainly located in Colorado to Canada. They were nomadic tribes known for their hunting and gathering lifestyle, relying heavily on buffalo for food, clothing, and shelter.
Pacific Northwest Tribes
Native American tribes located in the coastal regions of present-day Washington, Oregon, and Northern California. They were known for their fishing, woodworking, and complex social structures.
Northeast Iroquoi People
A group of Native American tribes primarily located in the northeastern United States, known for their agricultural practices.

Christopher Columbus
An italian sailer who showed up to the spanish court of Ferdanand and Isabella seeking sponsorship for his expedition to find a westward route to Asia. While on his journey he stumbled upon the Americas and is credited with opening up the New World to European exploration and colonization.
Columbian Exchange
The transfer of goods, culture, and diseases between the Americas and Europe following Christopher Columbus's voyages. This exchange significantly impacted agriculture, population, and ecosystems on both sides of the Atlantic.

Casta System
Categorized people in the Spanish colonies based on racial background. Peninsulares (born in spain spanish) on top then, Crillos (born in Americas) then, Castas (mixed with native or african), Africans, then Natives.
Mayflower Compact
First governing document in the plymouth colony (protestants).
Pueblo Revolt 1610
The Pueblos killed about 400 Spainards and burned all their churches as a result of the Spanish trying to fully convert them to christianity. Spanish left for about 12 years before returning.
