You are working for a company and at the company your boss decides to buy an aircraft that he is going to use to fly around to different work meetings. He finds out in the company that you are a commercial pilot, he decides to hire you to fly him around to the different work meetings. Would you be allowed to do this as a commercial pilot?
Yes, as long the boss is not make money off the flight itself. Example would be not making money for carrying other people or cargo for profit.
As long as you boss isn’t carrying person or property for the flight, you can do the service. You are just flying him and dropping him off for meetings then picking him back up.
So now lets say your boss then decides to start flying people/ passengers for hire, what would he need to do?
Get a commercial certificate under 121, 125, and 135
