a range of retreats across the liturgical year to suit everyone
St Beuno’s
a Jesuit Spirituality Centre in north Wales, run by the Jesuits, a religious order within the Catholic Church. They offer a range of retreat options, such as individually guided retreats where a person will spend time in silence, reflection and prayer, having a spiritual guide to assist each day.
They also offer themed retreats that focus on a range of topics, such as LGBT, dementia and art, allowing individuals to find a theme that is relevant and meaningful to their lives.
Llannerchwen
a retreat centre in the Brecon Beacons that is run by the Society of the Sacred Heart. This is an order of Catholic women who are committed to contemplative life and active worship.
The centre offers a number of different retreat options, such as solitude, which allows the individual complete silence and privacy from other guests to focus on prayer and can last from a few days to a number of months. They also offer accompanied retreats and guided retreats based in the spiritual exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola.
