Histogram
A data display that represents data over ranges of numbers.
Interval
The distance on the scale in a data display representing a range of data values.
Box Plot
A data display using quartiles to show how data is distributed.
Median
The middle value of a data set.
Dot Plot
A data display that represents data points with dots.
Outlier
A value that lies far from the other data values.
Mean
The average of the numbers in a data set.
Median
The middle number in a set of ordered numbers.
Mode
The number that occurs most frequently in a data set.
Range
The difference between the largest and smallest numbers in a data set.
Histogram
A special type of bar graph used to show the distribution of data using equal intervals.
Interquartile Range
The difference between the first and third quartiles.
