Silas Marner was accused of murder in Lantern Yard and moved to Raveloe. He also had a bag of money he kept until Duston stole Saila’s money seen he lost Godfrey.

Silas was treating Sally due to her illness, so Silas use his knowledge and provided a cure (medical plant) to heal Sally from her illness and pain. But that got the better of Silas because the people who saw what Silas was doing the Sally, wanted the same treatment as what Silas is giving to Sally.

The community of Ravoles is mix of different groups of people and each having their own social standing. The rich class was the squire class, while the poor class didn’t really care about anything, but important lookin village with a fine church and churchyard and a few brick homes.

Squire Cass is a richest man in Raveloe and not good father to his children. 

Godfrey Cass is weak and dependent on his younger brother Dunstan.

Dunstan Cass- irresponsible, heartless, meanspirited and abusive.

Dustan characteristics shows that he is not a trustworthy man and disrespects those around him, whether it is family or not. He has the potential to really hurt anyone who do no go his way, he is heartless and evil.

In the beginning of the story Silas and Squire Cass’ sons starts when the sons steal Silas’ stash of money. It continued when Godfrey’s daughter with the opium addict, Molly, ends up in Silas’ care.

Silas’ action was breakdown and he had a new look on life after finding it. He initially fears that greater power removed the money to ruin him a second time, but banishes that thought in favor of the simpler explanation of a robbery.

Silas Marner lived in th place where their religous stander were high and not a sociable community to be in, which led to him accuse of murdering a man and was banned out of Lantern Yard and move to Reveloe. When he was in Raveloes there was a low religous stander and a good soical community were he can work peaceful without people kicking him out of the town.

Describe the events in Chapter 4 where Silas Marner's gold was stolen, and how he reacted.

hen Silas first discovers that his gold was stolen, he has a mild panic attack. He frantically began searching all over his house, flipping chairs and checking under his mattress. When he finally realized that someone actually must have taken his gold, Silas cries out in anguish. His thoughts wander to who or what may have taken his precious belongings. He soon concludes that the thief someone he knew. Silas proceeds to recall a recent experience with Jem Rodney, a local poacher. More specifically, he remembers how Rodney once stayed a bit too long in Silas' cottage one day, claiming to have just been lighting his pipe. Confident that he had his thief, Silas makes his way to the village in order to proclaim his loss so that someone could recover the stolen gold.
