Alternate Interior Angles
Angles located between two lines on opposite sides of the transversal, which are congruent.
Alternate Exterior Angles
Angles located outside two lines on opposite sides of the transversal, which are congruent.
Consecutive Interior Angles
Same-side interior angles located inside two lines that are not equal and are supplementary, adding up to 180× or 180 degrees.
Adjacent Angles
Angles that are side-by-side and share a common vertex and a common side, with no common interior points.
Congruent Angles
Angles that are equal.
Complementary Angles
Angles whose sum adds up to 90 degrees.
Supplementary Angles
Angles whose sum adds up to 180 degrees.
