Gandhi was a guy who believed in non-violent disobedience to have the world see how evil British control of India was. Like (Ho Chi Minh (leader of the North Vietnamese) but with out violence) He also believed in boycotting British goods

The Salt March prohibited Indians from making their own salt. They were forced to buy it from the British so Gandhi made his own salt and was arrested.
