What were the causes of the fall of USSR?

1. Lose of the Afghan War

2. Economic problems due to communism

3. Went bankrupt due to competing with US

What were the effects of the fall of the USSR?

1. USSR became Russia once more

2. Many independent countries were created out of the USSR. (Ex. Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Lithuania)

3. Satellite states such as Poland & eastern Germany became independent

4. Putin eventually takes over & creates a dictatorship (but not communist)

Gandhi was a guy who believed in non-violent disobedience to have the world see how evil British control of India was. Like (Ho Chi Minh (leader of the North Vietnamese) but with out violence) He also believed in boycotting British goods
