skin disease causing red, itchy rash with scaling (similar to dandruff); most often affects: scalp, sides of nose, eyebrows, ears, eyelids, middle of chest

SCC

squamous cell carcinoma; usually presents as red crusted or scaly patch on skin, or firm red nodule

BCC

basal cell carcinoma; often small, dome-shaped, pimple-like growth that has pearly color; blood vessels may be seen on surface, often times ulcerated

MM

malignant melanoma; most severe form of skin cancer, as many different sites need to be excised d/t malignancy

alopecia areata

causing hair loss in small round patches that resolve on own; or, ILK injections may help resolve

cellulitis

localized skin infection appears as red, swollen, and painful area of skin; warm, tender to touch, usually infuriated
