The process to change something, used during the Renaissance period where they changed their views, religion, and art
Counter Reformation
The “revival” of the Catholic Church in an attempt to reform the church.

Those in higher positions who support artists by giving them a loan or allowing for them to stay in their country

Man who lived during the Renaissance period was expected to know skills like singing, dancing, or horseback riding

Woman who lived during the Renaissance period, expected to inspire art and not create it, had little to no say in politics

to write a book or literature in your native language opposed to someone else’s.

Something that could raise questions from people, can be an action or idea a person takes or has.

Made to define the doctrine and decrees on self-reform

A person who has opinions different from their religious head (Pope)

A territory made up of group of people who share the same cultural background
Inquisition
A place in the Catholic church were heretics were punished for their beliefs
City-State
Independent city that has ownership over a territory having a leader, economy, and political systems
