Choose what pressing the power button on the computer should do
Config the monitor and computer power to be reduced after periods of inactivity
Hibernation Power Mode
Saves the current state of the computer and shuts down
When started up again it resumes to the same state without consuming too much power
Power Plans
3 power plans:
Power Saver
Balanced
High Performance
Sleep/Suspend Power Mode
Doesn’t shut done like hibernation mode
Instead significantly reduced the power to components for a quick restart where you left it
Standby Power Mode
Typically refers to sleep mode
Not used in current Windows anymore
Choosing What Closing the Lid Does
Only available on deices that contain a lid closure sensor
Determines what happens to power and state when you close
Turn on Fast Startup
Places the system into hibernation during shutdown so the system can boot faster
USB Selective Suspend
Power option where the admin chooses to suspend power to a device connected to a specified USB port
