Steps to completing a Forcefield Analysis

identify driving and restraining forces, weight them by scoring out of 5 for each force, rank the top 3-5 of each force, develop a plan to reduce the strength of restraining forces and increase the strength of driving forces, evaluate the response to determine its effectiveness

Advantages of Forcefield Analysis (3)

clear indication of forces for and against the change, help to determine if change is worth pursuing, identify the most critical factors impacting the change
