sit resident up 75-90 degrees, put on gloves

apply barrier towel across chest

wet tooth brush and apply tooth paste

clean all inner, outer, chewing surfaces of L R M and tongue

give sip of water to rinse and sit into basin

use barrier to dry residents mouth

take soiled linen to proper hamper

rinse and dry basin, toothbrush and return to equipemnt storage

remove gloves

call light, bed lowered, unprovide privacy
