What was the significance of the Storming of the Bastille?
Multiple groups coming together make them more powerful.
What was the Declaration of the Rights of Man and of the Citizen, and why was it important?
It's a new declaration that was drafted & adopted by the National Assembly. It was important as it inspired with Enlightenment ideas and gave equal rights to all.
What happened during the Reign of Terror & who led it?
Thousands of people were suspected to be against the revolution and executed without fair trail. Robespierre led it.
What were some of the effects or results of the French Revolution?
Monarchy ended, thousands of people were dead, Napoleon was able to rise.
How did Napoleon come to power?
By gaining rep from winning battles.
What was the Napoleonic Code?
Simplified legal system and applied the same rules to all citizens in France.
What led to Napoleon's downfall?
He became too aggressive and lost thousands of troops while destroying Europe.
