Goods receiving/dispatch preparation area
The most important area in a warehouse configuration.
Timely distribution (Phân phối hàng hóa kịp thời)
A warehouse function implemented when current stock levels or quality do not meet the specific requirements for finished goods or raw materials.
Product mixing (Phối hợp hàng hóa)
The process of picking goods from multiple locations and batches to complete a single order with various item types and quantities.
Security and storage (Bảo đảm và lưu giữ hàng hóa)
The function of ensuring goods maintain full quantity and quality throughout operations while maximizing warehouse area and capacity.
Component warehouse management (Quản lý kho linh kiện)
The storage of all input raw materials and sub-assemblies used as ingredients for subsequent production stages.
Product warehouse management (Quản lý kho sản phẩm)
The storage of finished products from production lines prepared for outbound shipping.
Packaging material warehouse (Quản lý kho vật liệu đóng gói)

Consolidation warehouse
A warehouse used for grouping small shipments (LCL) together.
Breakbulk warehouse
A distribution warehouse where large shipments are broken down into smaller lots for customers.
Mixing warehouse
A multi-functional warehouse that combines products from different factories to ship to specific customers.
Layout
The arrangement or physical positioning of areas in a warehouse.
Rack
A shelf or storage frame used for holding goods in the warehouse.
Dock
A warehouse door or loading bay used for receiving or shipping goods.
Forklift
Equipment used for lifting and moving goods within the warehouse.
Taly man
A warehouse staff member responsible for checking or counting goods.
Picker
A warehouse employee responsible for picking items from storage locations.
Manager
The highest-ranking management position in the warehouse personnel structure.
Supervisor
The middle-level management position in a warehouse.
Storage location hierarchy
The system used to identify a specific storage spot, following the order: Shelf > Row > Column > Sub bin.
Yellow Label
A label indicating that domestic goods are currently waiting for quality inspection.
Red Label
A label applied to goods that have failed quality inspection (QC conclude not qualified).
Blue Label
A label used to identify sample goods (lô hàng mẫu).
HOLD Label
A label indicating that a shipment must be held and is awaiting a resolution.
P/O (Purchase Order)
An official order document used during the goods receiving process.
D/O (Delivery Order)
A delivery order document used in warehouse receiving activities.
Accident report
A document created in the event of an accident or when physical damage occurs during receiving.
Trouble report
A report created when there is an issue or discrepancy during the receiving process.
Actual Qty
The real or physical quantity of goods received, as recorded in an Accident report.
Total NW (Net Weight)
The total weight of goods excluding the weight of the packaging.
Total GW (Gross Weight)
The total weight of goods including the weight of the packaging.
Total CBM
The total volume (cubic meters) of the goods, often recorded in a Trouble report.
Put away
The activity of placing received goods onto storage racks.
ASN (Advanced Shipping Notice)
A pre-shipment notification used in warehouse management processes.
Replenishment
The activity of refilling or supplementing stock in picking areas.
Despatch
The activity of shipping or sending goods out of the warehouse.
X-docking (Cross-docking)
A warehouse process where goods are moved directly from the receiving area to the shipping area without long-term storage.
Value-added services
Extra services provided in the warehouse that increase the value of products, such as labeling or special packaging.
