Exposition- Della and Jim are husband and wife, have no money, lives in an apartment, in the city, in the early 1900s, during Christmas. Inciting incident - Della has no gift for Jim. Rising action- Della chopped of her hair for money, got a gift for Jim a chain for his watch, she cries when she gets home because she doesnt think Jim willl like her with her short hair. climax- they exchange gifts and realize that the are useless since the combs are for her hair that she cut off and the chain was for the watch that he sold. falling action-they spend the evening with eachother. resolution-They love eachother no matter what.

Rising action- Rainsford meets Zaroff, Zaroff tells him about the game, and his past how he grew bored of hunting and now he hunts people, Zaroff invites Rainsford to join him, he said no so Zaroff hunts Rainsford for 3 days. Climax- Rainsford jumps into the sea and escapes. Falling action- Zaroff is sulking alone at dinner. Resolution- Rainsford appears and kills Zaroff.

Inciting incident- Montresor tells a very drunk Fortunato about amontillado. Rising action- Montresor lead Fortunato through his vault toward “the amontillado”. Climax- Montresor chains Fortunato up in the small closet area. Falling action- Montresor starts building the brick wall as Fortunato protest. Resolution- Fortunato dies.
