Translating correct reading answers

• correct reading answers will usually be translated language from the original text

• I must be good at identifying how words can be translated and how we can ssay the same thing in very different ways

Spoiler words

• intentionally make an answer wrong

• the writers put them in to legally falsify an answer

• even just one word can be a spoiler

• information that is not mentioned in the passage can spoil it

Singular vs Plural and possession

• dog- one dog

• dogs- two or more dogs

• dog’s- one dog owning something

• dogs’- two or more dogs own many things

Colons

• I must have a complete sentence to the left of a colon

• there can basically be anything after it

Punctuation rule

• no commas before “of” and “to”

Transitions

• when considering “additionally” imagine using first and then second

• transitions that change flow tend to cancel each other out

Semi-colons

• semicolons can separate items that ALREADY have commas in a list, this is weird but its correct

• ex- “I lived in LA, CA; Houston, TX; and Portland, Oregon.
