Romans 8:29-30

Storing up one's treasures on earth

Purity/holiness regarding sex

A focus on one's own abilities, qualities, achievements, status, etc.

Having a right view of one's self
What does it mean for God to be jealous?
God's jealousy is His delight in/desire for what is His
Contrast biblical love and faith with the world's view of them
Biblical love is joyfully choosing others over yourself, while worldly love is a feeling. Biblical faith is a confidence that drives one to live differently. Worldly faith is mental assent or hope.
Contrast biblical joy with the world's idea of happiness
Biblical joy is a constant delight that comes from an eternal perspective. Happiness is a temporary emotional feeling of pleasure that depends on circumstances.
Recognize and articulate a biblical understanding of Work, Feasting, and Sex
They are all good things from God. They can be corrupted into a vice if you have to much of them.
