PHP

Super Global Variables

Predefined PHP variables that are always accessible regardless of the scope.

$_SERVER

A super global variable that holds information about the header, paths, and script location.

$_POST

A super global variable that collects data from the form after submitting an HTML form.

Arrays

A data structure that stores multiple values in one single variable.

Two-dimensional array

An array of arrays, which allows storing data in a grid-like format.

Associative Array

An array referenced by named keys instead of numerical indices.

Comparison Operators

Operators that compare two values and return a boolean result.

Logical Operators

Operators used to combine conditional statements.

Function

A block of code that can be reused and is defined by a name.

Include

A PHP command that fetches and executes the contents of a specified file.

Require

A PHP command that includes and evaluates a specified file, stopping execution if the file is not found.

While Loop

A loop that continues to execute as long as a specified condition is true.

If Statement

A conditional statement that executes a block of code if a specified condition is true.

Switch Statement

A conditional statement that allows a variable to be tested for equality against a list of values.

Comments

Annotations in the code to explain what the code does, which are ignored by PHP during execution.

Variables

Containers for storing data values, which must begin with a '$' sign in PHP.
