Biotic

Any factor in the environment that is living (or was once alive)

Abiotic

Any factor in the environment that is not living and has never been alive

Organism

An individual living thing

Population

A group of organisms of the same species that share a habitat

Community

All of the organisms that share a habitat

Ecosystem

All the organisms in an area, together with the abiotic factors.

Biome

A group of ecosystems that share a similar climate and species

Limiting Factor

Factors that controls or limits the growth or success of an organism
