Trinomial Pattern x2+bx+c

GCF Factoring

Prime Polynomial
An algebraic expression that cannot be factored into lower-degree polynomials with integer coefficients, written as prime if it cannot be factored.
Difference of Squares Expression
A quadratic binomial expression of the form a2−b2, such as x2−4, x2−9, or 9x2−1.
Perfect Square Trinomial x2+4x+4
A quadratic expression in Practice 5-4 that factors completely into identical binomial factors (x+2)2.
Common Monomial Factor in 9x+36
The greatest common factor 9 extracted from the polynomial 9x+36, resulting in the factored form 9(x+4).
