Titration
A technique used to determine the concentration of a substance by reacting it with a solution of known concentration.
Buret
Laboratory equipment used to accurately dispense variable amounts of a solution in titrations.
Erlenmeyer flask
A flask used for mixing and titrating solutions.
Geijkte HCl-oplossing (Standardized HCl solution)
A solution with a precisely known concentration, used in titrations.
Zuur-base-indicator (Acid-base indicator)
A substance that changes color to indicate the endpoint of a titration.
Fenolftaleïne (Phenolphthalein)
An indicator that is colorless in acidic solutions and pink in alkaline solutions.
Eindstand (Endpoint)
The point in a titration where the reaction is complete, usually indicated by a color change.
Toegevoegd volume (Added volume)
The volume of titrant (the solution in the buret) required to reach the endpoint of a titration.
NaOH-oplossing (NaOH solution)
A solution of sodium hydroxide; its concentration is to be determined by titration.
