Guidelines for standard fees and contract agreement which encompasses the overall scope of work for interior design projects. The diverse nature of a design project may involve certain concerns which the interior designer may adopt for a specific project.

- Salary

- Fixed contract amount for goods and services,

- Standard rates for services rendered based on time, overhead and materials

Interior designers' earning usually take the following forms:

Consultation

Purchasing and/or sourcing of decorative artifacts, furniture, furnishings, etc. with the Client (local and international); on-site furniture and accessories' arrangements; exhibits.

Minimum of ₱50,000 per unit or ₱1,000 per square sqm.

What is the standard rate for small project with a maximum floor area of 75 sqm.?

Minimum of ₱50,000 per major room or maximum of ₱300,000 per house regardless of the number of rooms

What is the standard rate for projects with 76 sqm. to 300 sqm. of floor area?

Minimum of ₱400 per sqm. to a maximum of ₱800 per sqm.

What is the standard rate for projects with a floor area of 301 sqm. and above?

Full payment for the design services of one unit + percentage of the one unit for the succeeding set of units

How are interior designers paid for repetitive work such as hotel rooms?

Minimum of ₱50,000 per unit or ₱1,000 per sqm. plus 10% contingency fees for unseen additional works

What is the standard rate for interior design renovations and repair works?

10%-15% of the budgetary cost for implementation
