the often drunk owner of Animal Farm who the animals rebel over.
Mr. Whymper
someone hired by Napoleon who acts as a link between Animal Farm with neighboring farms to trade.
Mr. Pilkington
sells land to Napoleon in the end of the book and later cheers to his success at the end of the book.
Mr. Frederick
an enemy of Pilkington, owner of a neighboring farm. Swindles Napoleon by buying timber from him but then giving him counterfeit money. Tries to attack and take over Animal Farm but fails.
