define pollination
where pollen goes to the stigma to occur fertilisation
how do bees occur pollination
bees to the flowers to get the nectar, and since the pollen is very spiky it can attack to the bees so that when the bees go to the next flower to get more nectar the pollen that they got from the previous plant goes to the next stigma causing fertilisation.
what properties of the flower need to occur insect pollination
stigma and anther needs to be inside the petals
petals need to be colourful to attract bees
contains nectar
the pollen are large and spiky to stick onto the insects
how does wind occur pollination
when wind is blowing, the pollen is also carried by the wind when the anther releases the pollen. Then eventually it will stick onto a stigma from a different plant and cause fertilisation.
what properties does the plant need to occur wind pollination
anther and stigma must be large to produce and collect as much pollen
anther and stigma must be outside of the petals
pollen must be smooth and small
