Bias

Showing favoritism for one side over another

Campaign

A series of planned actions carried out in order to reach a particular goal

Lobbying

Contacting government officials to influence laws

Mass Media

All the different ways we share news and information with many people at the same time, like on TV, the internet, or in newspapers

Political Action Committee (PAC)

Political group made by a corporation, labor union, or other special interest group to support candidates by giving money

Propaganda

A way of sharing information, pictures, or posters to convince people to think or feel a certain way about something, often by only showing one side of the story

Public Opinion

What most people in a group or community think or feel about a certain topic

Public Policy

A plan or a set of rules made by the government to help solve problems and improve things for everyone in the community
