Sternal end
The end of the clavicle that articulates with the sternum.
Olecranon Process
The bony prominence at the very top of the elbow.
Olecranon fossa
The depression on the posterior side of the humerus that receives the ulnar process during arm extension.
Metacarpals
The bones located between the carpals and the phalanges in the hand.
Subscapular Fossa
The large, flat surface on the anterior side of the scapula.
Deltoid
The muscle that originates on the lateral clavicle, acromion, and scapular spine, inserting at the deltoid tuberosity.
Ulnar tuberosity
The insertion point of the Brachialis muscle.
Extension of the elbow
The primary action of the Triceps Brachii muscle.
Pectoralis Major
The muscle that originates from the sternum, ribcage, and medial clavicle.
Flexion and Supination
The two primary actions of the Biceps Brachii.
Extension
The term describing straightening your arm and tensing your triceps.
Pronation
The movement when you turn your palms down towards the floor.
Trochlea
The part of the humerus that articulates with the trochlear notch of the ulna.
Ulna
The longer of the two forearm bones.
