Levels of Measurement
the way a set of data is measured
Nominal Scale
measured qualitative (categorical)
Ordinal Scale
like normal but data can be ordered
Interval Scale
definite ordering but there is difference between data; no starting point; meaningful order
Ratio Scale
data arranged in meaningful order; difference between data and zero indicates absence of something
Cumulative Relative Frequency
accumulation of previous frequencies
