Cloud computing
Delivery of computing services (servers, storage, applications) over the internet from centralized data centers, usually on a pay-as-you-go basis.
Data centers
Large facilities housing servers and storage that power cloud services and store data.
Broad network access
Access to cloud services over the network using standard devices (phones, tablets, laptops) via Wi‑Fi or mobile data from anywhere.
On-demand self-service
End users can provision computing resources automatically without human intervention from the provider.
Resource pooling
Cloud provider’s resources are shared among multiple customers with dynamic allocation in a multi-tenant model.
Elasticity
Ability to scale resources up or down quickly to match demand (storage, compute, etc.).
Measured service
Cloud services are metered and billed based on usage.
Cost-saving
Reduces or eliminates the need for expensive hardware upfront, lowering total cost of ownership.
Collaboration
Cloud tools enable easy teamwork and real-time sharing on group projects.
Google Drive
Google's cloud-based file storage and sharing service.
Netflix
Cloud-based streaming service for delivering video content.
Zoom / Google Meet
Cloud-based platforms for online meetings and video conferencing.
Facebook / Instagram
Social media platforms that store and share photos and videos in the cloud.
