To be diagnosed with CRPS you have to meet the following criteria:
Continued pain that is disproportionate from than expected based on the injury
1 symptom in 3 of the following categories:
Sensory
Vasomotor
Sudomotor/Edema
Motor/trophic
Sensory
What are sensory symptoms of CRPS?
Reports of hyperesthesia and/or allodynia
What are vasomotor symptoms of CRPS?
Reports of temperature asymmetry and/or skin color changes and/or skin color asymmetry
What are Sudomotor/Edema symptoms of CRPS?
Reports of edema and/or sweating changes and/or sweating asymmetry
What are Motor/Trophic symptoms of CRPS?
Reports of decreased range of motion and/or motor dysfunction (weakness, tremor, dystonia) and/or trophic changes (hair, nail, skin)
