Sural
Anatomical term referring to the calf or back of lower leg.
Tarsal
Anatomical term referring to the ankle.
Body's cavities
Spaces or "holes" formed by bones and tissues where organs are held.
Dorsal cavity
One of the two main body cavities; consists of two cavities that contain the central nervous system.
Ventral cavity
One of the two main cavities of the body.
Cranial cavity
The space within the skull that holds your brain.
Spinal cavity (or vertebral cavity)
The space within the vertebrae where the spinal cord runs through your body.
