  • Bone on Bone= Hard feeling( Elbow extension)

  • Firm (ligament/ Capsular)= (E.G. Shoulder external rotation or hip flexion)

  • Soft Tissue (Tissue approximation)= (E.G. Elbow flexion forearm pressing against bicep).

  • Empty= Patient movement stopped by pain.
