Order of National Artists (Orden ng Pambansang Alagad ng Sining)
The highest national honor bestowed upon Filipino artists who have made exceptional contributions to the country's cultural heritage. Established through Presidential Proclamation No. 1001 in 1972, it is jointly administered by the NCCA and CCP.
