What is twist perspective in Egyptian art?
In ancient Egyptian paintings when showing off the body artists would use the profiling views to show off the person as much as possible. Profiling views is when one part of the body is facing the side. Feet and the legs facing the side to show off muscles. The torso faces the front so the shoulders, arms, hands and especially the fingers can be seen clearly. Heads were also always turned to the side to show off the ears, hair or headdress.
